Situation hub
Twins & multiples
Two-of-everything kits, double strollers, twin-feeding pillows, side-by-side cribs. The gear that single-baby lists ignore.
How Cribworthy is paid: we earn an Amazon Associates commission on qualifying purchases. No sponsored placements, no paid reviews, no free products in exchange for coverage. Picks rank on published pediatric guidance + aggregated parent outcomes, never on commission rate. Read the editorial standards.
Why this hub exists
Parents of multiples need duplicates of some items and entirely different versions of others (tandem strollers, twin nursing pillows, side-by-side cribs that fit a standard nursery). Default best-of lists are sized for one baby.
What to keep in mind
- Tandem (inline) strollers (Baby Jogger City Select 2, UPPAbaby VISTA V2 with RumbleSeat) outperform side-by-side for elevator/sidewalk access.
- Twin nursing pillow (My Brest Friend Twin, Twin Z) is non-negotiable for tandem feeding — single-baby pillows don't work.
- Two infant car seats + a stroller frame is cheaper than a dedicated double-stroller-with-car-seats system early on.
- Side-by-side mini cribs (Babyletto Origami, MidWest Day & Night) work in standard nursery footprints; full-size twin cribs usually don't.
- Bottle warmer with two slots is a real time-saver during night feeds.
Source framing: Selection based on AAP guidance for multiple-birth families + r/parentsofmultiples consensus.

Breast Pumps & Nursing Accessories
Breast pumps fall into four buckets: hospital-grade plug-ins (Spectra S1 Plus is the community gold standard), wearable in-bra pumps (Elvie Stride, Willow Go, Momcozy M5), insurance-default workhorses (Medela Pump in Style with MaxFlow), and silicone milk catchers (Haakaa). Most US insurance plans cover at least one pump through Aeroflow or Edgepark, so check that first before paying out of pocket. Wearables trade some suction strength for hands-free freedom, plug-ins win on output and back-to-work pumping, and a Haakaa is the cheapest milk-saving tool you will buy. Add storage bags, a hands-free pumping bra, and the right flange size and you are set.
